Mitsubishi Motors Corporation is a multinational automotive manufacturer based in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Mitsubishi's automotive origins date back to 1917, when the Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Corp., Ltd. introduced the Mitsubishi Type A, Japan's first series-production automobile.
